Solar Path Lights
Solar path lighting is a now huge category that contains everything from decorative post lights that include everything from refined stainless steel fittings to colour changing solar stake lights. More recently solar path lighting category has expanded to include solar driveway, solar decking and solar patio lights.
Solar Pathway Lighting
Solar Pathway Lights are now a credible alternative to mains powered fittings and offer numerous advantages. Solar Pathway Lights are quick and easy to install, they run off just a few volts so completely safe, they are fully automatic so you don’t need to turn them on or off and they use long life LED bulbs that will never need replacing.
Solar Driveway Lights
Using mains powered lights to illuminate your driveway is going to be expensive. Part P of the Building Regulations dictates that you must get a qualified electrician round to undertake the work and certify it once it’s done. If you have a driveway already laid then the brick work will need to be removed or tarmac dug up so that cabling can be run from your house to the various locations on your driveway that require lighting.
Solar lighting is a doddle by comparison. Our Solar Paverlight Solar Brick Lights are the exact same size as a standard block paving brick, so it really is just a matter of removing a brick and replacing it with a Paverlight Solar Brick Light. All of our solar driveway lights, solar decking lights and solar patio lights are self-sufficient with everything you need in the box and they will turn on and off automatically.
Solar Deck & Solar Decking Lighting
Decking has become hugely popular over the last 15 years in gardens of different shapes and sizes. As with everything mains powered, getting a power supply outside and running cabling for decking lights is time consuming and expensive. We offer two really good quality stainless steel solar deck lights that have received excellent reviews online. Our Solar Square Decking Light and Solar Round Decking Light offer unrivalled build quality, great brightness and reliability. Both these lights are designed in the UK to work year round in the UK.
How Do Solar Garden Pathlights Work
Solar garden path lights are basically solar battery chargers that power a light after dark. During the day the sun’s rays are absorbed by a solar panel and converted into power. That power charges the batteries inside the solar path light. After dark a light sensor tells the light to stop charging and start lighting from the power stored in the batteries. In the morning the light sensor tells the solar garden path light to turn off so the solar panel can charge the battery up ready for the following evening.
